Got a Micro-USB and a Lightning one a couple of weeks ago. They really are beautiful cables with a caveat.
If you are in the habit of yanking your cables out by the, well, cable, then DON’T get these. You will break and ruin them. The metal jacket is a nicely coiled gunmetal with a bit of weight and drape. However, there is nothing crimping, or attaching the jacket to the plugs at either end. Meaning, if you yank by the cable the metal jacket WILL pull out of the plug and expose the wires inside. If you’re good about grasping the plug body itself when unplugging, then you’ll be fine. But I can see why some have complained about their cables “breaking” where the cable meets the plug.
Otherwise, I really like the ones I got. Very classy looking. They are the bedside cables that charge my phone and earphone at night. I do wish a longer option was available. 3 feet to the nightstand is fine, but I can’t pick up the phone and look at it while in bed. It’s just a little too short.
