I think Plum is dropping the ball a little bit by not having anything other than 35g variants easily found for purchase here in the US. If there was a 45g or preferably a 55g version of this in this I'd be in for one in a heartbeat. Not only that but I'd imagine they be pretty popular within the community being a more affordable electro capacitive switch based board than Topre.

Rob27shredDon't lower-weight keys have a higher target audience, i.e. gamers?

wolfinDepends, some gamers prefer Mx Blacks for the opposite reason, a more weighted key prevents misclicks.

wolfinFrom my understanding based on reading keyboard forums in Korea and Japan, they seem to prefer the lighter actuation weight more than 55g variant. I don't have any numbers to back this observation though.

Rob27shredThey sell 45g variants at the NIZ website and if you want 55 or 65 you can buy a dome sheet from eBay and swap them easily.
