This is my favorite keyboard. I've owned or tried boards with Cherry brown, black, blue, clear, green, and silver switches. For office use (low actuation force for fast typing, low noise for placating coworkers), the only thing that comes close to the Plum's super-dome switches is the Cherry red. I currently use Cherry silver at home and the Plum at work. The silver switches are very snappy and a lot of fun, but the feel just isn't ideal for typing all day, and they're still comparatively noisy. The Plum's electro-capacitative (read: dome) switches are quiet, precise, and have a wonderful, gentle feel with a subtle thud when they bottom out. Out of the box, I found 35g way too light for me, maybe because months of hammering away on Cherry greens had turned my fingers into brutal typing weapons. Fortunately, the board comes with a set of 10g springs, which I installed under my alpha and modifier keys. Perfect. As others have mentioned, fit and finish aren't first class; the plastic plate was slightly warped out of the box, but I just flexed it back to level and it has stayed level. I love that the board firmware has an OS toggle (hold down FN+alt for ~3 seconds until a light flashes under the "Print Screen" key to enable Mac-native mode) and uses Cherry-compatible stems. I popped on the Tai-Hao Hawaii keycaps and now get more compliments on this board than on anything I've ever owned!

tonyzSorry, I didn't realize I had turned off all my Massdrop emails, so I didn't see this till now. According to my Massdrop transaction history, I bought the board on May 28, 2018, so I doubt that was the most recent drop.
