I got a couple of these in different sizes, so the inconsistencies are noticeable between them. But honestly not a deal breaker. I'd be happy with any of them, knowing that variations are inevitable in small batches of handmade products. But definitely add your own rubber feet to prevent sliding on desktop, they are quite slick otherwise.
Definitely needs rubber stoppers on the back, but I don't have too much of a problem with it sliding around.
There are several bubbles in the resin.
It's not stellar, but it's not bad either. :)
Mine came with heavy scuffs and scratches on the top resin part like it was used and abused before being shipped to me. It has no rubber feet on the bottom where the wood is which makes it easy for this thing to slide all over my desk. Beautiful desk piece but terrible finish.
The concept is neat, but the execution and QA leave something to be desired. The most prominent issue is that the resin does not entirely cover a couple areas. This means there are bumpy areas on what should be a smooth surface. There are clusters of bubbles throughout. One cluster can even be felt on the surface. The surface is scratched up, which ruins the aesthetic. I'm surprised the wrist rest I received was even shipped out.
Overall I am fairly happy with the wrist rest it looks stunning but there are few defects on the finish. There are scratches on the polish top and some air bubbles on the inside there is also some floating particles inside the resin as if they didn't dust it properly. One big drawback is the lack of rubber feet to keep it from sliding I had to go to Home Depot to get some as without them it is pretty much not use able. I like it's a gorgeous design but I feel that for the price the finished product should've had a cleaner finish.
the one i got did not look nearly as good as the pictures, and the shape is kinda odd. it's too tall for most of my boards and therefore not very useful.
Incredibly inconsistent unit to unit cohesion. im looking at the reviewers on here and seeing a product totally different from mine, but it does look nice, this product is extremely rushed however, some have bubbles some dont, the layering is different on all units, it looks nice but i cant recommend it because of all the inconsistencies
