Ah - I may be the last one to get them down here in South America - worth the wait! - They are really skinny, which I don't like that much, but the reaction I'm getting form my sweetheart is definitely helping me warm up to them! At first it felt like putting sausage-casings on my legs, but as they've worn in, they've gotten a little more comfortable. The fabric feels sturdy and durable. Nice, well-built jeans! If you ever do a Massdrop for a straighter cut version of the same, I'll be among the first to commit, as long as they sell a nominal 36, which would probably be closer to the measurements they list for a 34..
One should keep in mind that they don't shrink very much - the Pointer Brand website suggests 2.5% in length & 7.5% in girth. In my case, it's even a bit less than that after a soak, 3 days cycling in them, and a warm wash. On the other hand, the measurements are really off, as others pointed out, so buy one size bigger than they recommend. Following the sizing chart, mine are so tight it's still hard work to put on my shoes...

I had a similar sizing issue to other comments. Massdrop support basically said tough titty. :(

So I just got these this morning, size 34,great pair of pants, but when I measured them, the knee and the leg opening were definitely not 8, closer to a 7.3 and as a result they don't fit. Can post pics as proof.

boris_hoThe same situation happened to me and I have contacted the massdrop support a few days ago. Sadly after 4-5 days there are no reply from any support from them.

An exciting update! The group’s order was picked up from the vendor and is now on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Given the tracking information provided, our warehouse team expects the shipment to come in by 6/19 and will be ready to get the order repacked and off to you as soon as it comes in.
Occasionally the shipment experiences a delay en route, but rest assured that we will keep the group updated throughout the entire process and let you know if something causes it to be set back.

It’s happening! Thanks to each of you, the drop was a success and we have contacted the vendor for the Pointer Brand Duck Canvas Chinos and submitted the group’s order. Does the big label on the back pocket come off easily? I don't mind the small label on the watch pocket because it's more or less unobtrusive, but I kind of object to walking around with a billboard sewn onto my butt.

How similar is this to the 'Melted Caramel' color they sell at J Crew? It look a lot less loud in the photos but it might just be white balance or something.
