$1300 for a 2 in 1 with mediocre screen to body, dual core 7TH GEN i7, DDR3 ram... Ugh.

JESUSARIUS_REXGiven the price of memory lately, considering it comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, it's not the most overpriced laptop deal, irrespective of the 7th gen (and not 8th gen) Intel processor.

blahhhNo offense my dude, but i'd disagree. My local Best Buy had a dell inspiron 7378, with the same i7-7500u, 12gb of DDR4, and a 256 M.2 SSD, in open box for $400. The brand new one of the same would go for $700. The new model, the i7 8550u, 16gb, 512, goes for about $1000 flat. Really, what you're paying for here is porche design, which granted, looks tight as fuck. But the hardware itself isn't mush to brag about.

J_JingleheimerYou said it yourself. Dell Inspiron vs Prosche Design is apples and oranges. The XPS 2-in-1 is the much closer comparison, and that's currently going for $1400 at bestbuy with a smaller SSD and lower res screen. Also 7th gen Intel.

blahhhI kinda see what you mean, and yes, my comparison is a little off in that regard. However, the XPS 2-in-1 isn't a good comparison either, since it's ridiculously overpriced, and it has a 7Y processor, not a U sku. I think a closer mark would be the Asus Q325 at $1300, which i'd argue has a better design than the porche. In terms of hardware as well it's still a better deal, with the 8th gen i7, and the same amount of RAM and storage.

JESUSARIUS_REXComparing hardware, I just bought a Lenovo 2 in 1 14in for $600. 8GB DDR4. 256 SSD. QUAD CORE i5. Battery lasts as long as this one. The screen isn't as good, but all things considering it shows how overpriced this is.
