Just want to point out, once again, the Porsche Design company is not the same company as the Porsche car company; which is to say, these are not Porsche watches, these are Porsche Design watches--there's difference. Here's the difference!

RayFCar and watch different? yes and no. It depends how you watch it. Porsche AG (car manufacturer) bought 35% of Porsche Design in 2017. They were already owning 65% of it. “The acquisition underlines the strategic relevance of the Porsche Design Group for our company. We will ensure there is a closer link between lifestyle activities and the automotive business”, says Lutz Meschke, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board and Member of the Executive Board for Finance and IT at Porsche.  https://www.linkedin.com/in/lutz-meschke/?originalSubdomain=de So Porsche Design Group: 100 per cent owned subsidiary Porsche AG. From the press release: …"Porsche Design is a premium lifestyle brand founded by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche in 1972. As the designer of the Porsche 911, his vision was to create a company that would take the principles and the “spirit of Porsche” beyond the automobile itself.”… https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/company/porsche-design-group-shares-acquired-investment-subsidiary-sports-car-manufacturer-13611.html

adaireTrue. On the other hand: "Porsche Design Timepieces AG", based in the Swiss Canton "Jura", is responsible for developing and producing Porsche Design timepieces; marketing and sales is overseen by the Porsche Design Group based in LudwigsburgGermany. The first watch series offered solely by Porsche Design went on sale in the fourth quarter of 2014. In 2015, the Design Studio changed its name to Studio F. A. Porsche in memory of its founder Ferdinand Alexander Porsche.

RayFFair proposal!  You might already have too much watches and some will tell I already have too much cars ;-) If I may choose a model, from them I’ll go with : MONOBLOC ACTUATOR GMT-CHRONOTIMER TITANIUM BLUE The monobloc actuator that Rolf Bergmann uses to demonstrate the tight links between the watches and cars engineering from Porsche. Like he says: -we are all “Porscheaner”- a quick demo of the monobloc actuator from him: https://www.instagram.com/p/BcCC0PWhZIO/?hl=en

adaireWow--that is cool! Much as I like these PD watches, until I get my Cayman, I'd have to opt for this particular watch first:

RayF@RayF great taste Sir!! Now we are talking. Wife drives the Cayman GTS 2015 3.4 liter flat six. version. She has the optional sport suspension. It’s the best handling (and sounding) car I have ever driven (Lotus Exige Sport 410 is second) And yes my wife drives it as if she stole it. However, the new 2020 Cayman GTS with the completely bonkers 4 liter flat 6 and 400 PS will be the driver’s car of the year in 2020 my guess)....
