nelsonGot mine today, I was surprised to see it come so quickly.
Build quality is pretty high, some of the dials have sharp edges that should have been finished better but that's my only slight complaint.
Haven't had a chance to test it yet.
I have absolutely no use for this as a DJ but, I have been looking for something just like this to control the volume of all my devices hooked up to my computer.
I doubt it would pass any audiophiles test but for basic mixing I am hoping it will do the job.
price doesn't make it worth it... at first I thought would be great to use with some of the pocket synths im usuing instead having to use my 12 channel board when I only need a few extra on my main mixer... however price plush shipping is higher then if sourced else where.....
bnsbnsThis thing is not for real recording, look at a Mackie 402VLZ4 for a simple mixer with good clean gain and phantom power, Cloud-Lifter makes some great additional pre-amps which provide an additional amount of ridiculously clean gain using phantom power from the mixer, they also have a model that passes through phantom power as well.
HolahoopsThis is probably one of the cheapest options to do that. I doubt it'll sound great, I'm sure it's output impedance for headphones is over 30ohms (a lot of budget gear skimps you on headphone amping and impedance, hope you have some high impedance cans that put an easy load on it and get a better damping factor.)
