So long as "modern fashion" corresponds to what one actually wants to buy and wear, at the price one wants to pay, so be it. My issue is paying too much for what "they" try to pass off as fashion. In the grand scheme of things, a questionable purchase here or there, matters not--there are more important things to save the world from ;- ) Thanks for checking out the pics!

Ray, my guess is you may not be into modern mens fashion? Which is totally fine, but, contrary to what some men think, women LOVE when a man (who is in shape) reaches up or bends over and they get a glimpse of a nice stomach or back. I'm in shape, and the shorter fit is one of the reasons I love this shirt. And why my girlfriend loves it, too. EDIT: I just saw your flickr page. You have some really excellent photography!!! Love it!

I'm with you on that. I would never use this for hiking, but this is not an outdoors brand. It's an "outdoors/athletic" urban fashion brand line made by an outdoor company. When I go to the Columbia employee store, they have Columbia, Prana, Mt Hardware and Sorel under one roof. I buy my outdoor gear in MT.H., my city wear in Prana, and my base layers in columbia titanium, and my boots in Columbia. IMO, Prana is one of the best cut American fashion brands. And you'r right. The arm's are cut in a nice way that looks good and gives you full range of motion.
