This keyboard was my first experience with building my own keyboard and I had a great time. The hot-swap switch sockets made testing out different switches easy and the build process was very simple. The case that comes with the PCB is built like a tank and feels super solid. I am not much of a programmer but even I was able to figure out QMK with some help. After some trial and error I managed to get a rotary encoder working on this board. I really cannot emphasize enough how customizable QMK makes any keyboard, huge plus.
If you want to get an ortholinear keyboard solely for their improved ergonomics, I would recommend you get something that has a split layout as well. The ortholinear key layout is nice to type on and simple to learn and but you still have the same wrist and shoulder issues that come with traditional keyboards.
Would recommend to a friend.
