What does this NOT include? For it to function, I assume I also need to purchase and solder my own switches, and also purchase keycaps. Is there anything else I need to purchase to start using this?
spillbillwillNote: The base price excludes both switches and keycaps. This is a hotswap board

erickongOOOH ok so as long as i bring my own switches and keycaps, I will have all i need for a fully functional keyboard? (sorry im new to buying things off drop)
spillbillwillYou are correct. Feel free to ask me any questions if you have them
erickongHi erickong, how do I know which switches and keycaps work with this keyboard? Just don't want to buy the wrong ones, and there seem to be lots to choose from!
ScrupulousWombatCherry MX and MX clones. This is an ortho board, you need caps to fit the MX style switches and a keycap set that supports ortho

erickongThanks so much for your reply. Sorry to ask another super basic question, but how can I tell if a keycap will support ortho? I'll take it from your last message that the switches are universal regardless of whether they are used on an ortho board or not?
ScrupulousWombathttps://drop.com/buy/drop-mt3-black-on-white-keycap-set?utm_source=linkshare&referer=BPKDQH Look at the ortho kit for this keycap set. They are a bunch of single unit keys. MX style with the plus-shaped stem "+" is the most common switch
