I bought the smaller evak and it works great holding the excess from the coffee bag when the hopper on my grinder is at capacity. Might spring for the larger if it goes on sale again.

I bought two sizes, a small and large. I use them to hold coffee. A caveat is on the first use one of the lids came apart so now it does not seal and is useless. I will have to send it back on my dime. The other one works as intended, and provides a good seal when aligned properly. Overall I would not buy again.

cbsbyteWhen you say the lid came apart, you don't mean that the metal part came off, do you? It's supposed to; a small twist takes it off or puts and it back on. Sorry if that's not what you meant. I point it out only because it took me a while to realize I could take the metal part off for easy washing.

jimbolayaWhat I was referring to was that the whole lid broke into two pieces, it was glued together. I was not referring to the metal bottom cap which is suppose to come off for cleaning.
