Imo, if within your budget and means it is perfect for such purposes as well as streaming. I'm using a dedicated audio interface myself (Motu M2) which offers more accommodation and flexibility in usage, a better internal digital to analogue converter (in my case) and higher ceiling with regards to potential for capturing and recording quality audio. It is possible to upgrade or swap out individual components in the system chain too. But an all-in-one device like this reduces desk clutter and offers plug-and-play convenience and simplicity, if you do not require or hunger for those extra benefits an audio interface provides
