The sealing rubber on the lid had melted a little and haa left a permanent ring of plastic on the inside of the pitcher. Doesnt inspire confidence in food safety of the plastics

14themoneyyeah it does. however, I didn’t bother to send it back (given the hassle of worldwide shipping) So MD didn’t have a chance to provide warranty repairs
