I have to say this item doesn't match my expectations. The first problem is that the mesh doesn't filter the coffee as well as I'd like. After I take the grounds out of the pitcher I still have to filter the coffee through a paper filter. So in this regard it's the same as making cold brew in a french press cafetière. The second problem is the relative size of the mesh container to the pitcher. In order for the coffee grounds to fit, I have to make at least 1,5 L of coffee - Ideally I would make 0,5L—1L, but this amount of water is not enough to cover the grounds. It seems like this problem could be solved by making the mesh container a bit wider. What makes me even more disappointed is that this is otherwise a really nice product. So now I'm using it mostly to make fresh ginger tea :)
