Similar tea for one sets I have seen and owned have not had strainers in the spout, so looseleaf would require a strainer poised between pot and cup as you pour. There are fill-your-own bags for looseleaf tea available, which are sort of the best of both worlds: your own looseleaf tea in a handily disposable container.
