RiskD2 isn't technically a stainless steel but its very close to it as far as chromium content goes. D2 is a bit more prone to light rusting than a steel like S30V, especially if it is left in a wet pocket or not lightly oiled on a regular basis. It's a great steel though and holds an edge very well.
