RulerI never cared for AUS8 steel. Got rid of all mine. SV30 is lowest steel I will go for sharpening and edge retention. D2 holds an edge typically longer but need to be careful in sharpening sooner to make it easy. Let it get dull and will take more time to get it back but of course can (tough tool steel). If folks are lazy at sharpening, then D2 is not the best for you.
BEARSxARExPEOPLExTOO_Very_ Subjective, personally i hate the look of most CRKT knives, and those ones in particular.... this knife looks pretty spot on, visually.
i really did want to join this drop... but after reviewing size and practicality, i had to refrain. It seems to be a rather chunky knife, which i don't personally have much use for (i already don't use my Zero Tolerance knife much for the same reason)... The price point, materials, reviews, and visuals all seem good though.
