so... this guy or the kershaw blur thats also available right now? the kershaw has S30V steel, which is apparently higher quality, but this one looks nicer (atleast to me). whats the performance differences of the steel? if its not used for any heavy duty stuff, is the difference nominal? any knife savants could help an amateur like myself?

DocZZZThe Kershaw Blur in S30V is a nice knife. I'd say the Blur is more EDC friendly in terms of size. For that reason alone, you might find the Blur to be a knife you use a lot more. But that's a personal thing. Some folks are good with EDCing larger knives.
The Proelia is a nice knife. I'd almost put it in the "hard use" category in terms of size and general style, but for one thing: the blade, while super sharp, is not that stout. This is simply because it looks to be hollow ground. So the blade steel gets much thinner as you get to the edge. That makes it an awesome slicing and cutting knife. But you probably won't want to do too much prying or twisting with it.
If you were looking for a thick D2 blade that really seems suited to hard use, I would think the HK Axis folder that drops here every now and then should fit the bill. That blade on that knife seems really stout. It's not as good a slicer as the Proelia, but both have their own strengths. The Proelia in the end does feel like a larger knife, whereas the HK Axis and and Kershaw Blur feel generally similar in terms of size.

DocZZZI don't really like the aesthetics of the Blur, but it is probably a little more of an 'all-rounder' style knife, and S30V steel is quite nice if you've not owned a knife in it before.
This Proelia looks like an awesome knife too though!
