I got all three. The first time I got two but one didn't have the music play when the box opened so I returned it and bought it again during the second drop. I've tested one so far. These things are amazing and the packaging seems worth the 30 bucks alone.

Is the inner box really black? I have the X-Wing version that I purchase somewhere else, but the main box is gray. The website showed the black box version, but when it arrived, it was gray box. The pictures depicted on Massdrop shows the black box version. Can you confirm display box color?

The ones I saw, purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond, were black. Not sure if there were other versions of the packaging.

This is the best Star Wars themed item I have purchased since the Light Sabers w/detachable blades I bought way back of which all 3 still work perfectly. With the double boxing, ( I used i piece of thin nylon string to slide under half the wax seal so I didn't have to cut it in half. >> By the way, the wax seal is held on with 2 separate pieces of black double sided tape with a gap where they tell you to cut it in half.) the lights, the sound, which has at least 3 different versions. I haven't even tried to fly it and I already think it's well worth the $40 bucks I paid. Everything appears new from the factory or wherever. The quality of the controller alone is worth the 40 bucks easy. All pieces were included, prop-guard, extra props, everything. Nothing appeared re-packaged or pre-opened on my unit, everything looked brand new. I would give this a 9.5 out of 10 just because nothing is ever a perfect 10.

PS, if you want a drone that's easy to fly right out of the box, I suggest the DJI Tello, you can find the bundle for $100 that comes with 3 extra batteries and charger.

My Tie came with a damaged acrylic case(all scratched up) and the wax seals weren’t “sealed”. Anyone else encounter this ?

I did. Somehow the shipping/outer box was fine, but the inner box is all scuffed up and the acrylic case has literal cracks in it. I'm sure the fact UPS delayed the shipment twice and the fact it went through 8 stops probably didn't help. Very disappointed

Didn't purchase here but a family member tried buying 2 of these for my nephews, both failed first night. So after her third set of exchanges and still recieving weird unique issues, I showed up to help thinking maybe the issue wasn't the drones haha (heavy RC enthusiast from air to ground). It was. How horribly built. I'd ONLY consider buying if I knew I'd never removed it from the box for future value. But then I wouldn't be opening the box;) (SPOILER!!! Odd amazing surprise, check youtube if you don't mind spoiler for unboxing one of these) For a drone at this price in 2019, many many better options out there if you wanna play around in this hobby for more than a week ;)

For those who own them all, which one do you enjoy flying the most? As in easiest to fly, most responsive, over all most fun?

I got it last week for $27 on Deals Hive. It's going now for $24... but there's 20 more days till it's done. Better deal though . It usually doesn't reach $30 there. they have it for a while now - once a month. https://www.dealshive.com/sales/star-wars-74-z-speeder-bike-collectors-edition/
