Same as Yarsmang, conflicting messages and now tracking as shipped.
I’m newer to Massdrop. Is this typical?
This is not typical in my experience.
Making assumptions and extrapolating: since Massdrop collects customers and money and then sends them to the retailer to fulfill, it seems like the failure here is in the retailer who committed to a fulfillment price and date but has not met their obligation. Massdrop is trying to communicate to us, the customers but is probably not getting clear communication from the fulfillment organization who might be in over their head and in violation of a contract. In any case, I will trust Massdrop to make it right in the end.
I think massdrop is new in general and may need to work out some logistics kinks.
