I have this pack (without additional pouches) - It is really nice from configurability point of view - molle outside and hook&loop inside. I used it as a minimal travel pack, for short hikes or to transport gear. It has some issues though. The most annoying thing is that the shoulder straps are too short. I'm 6'1 and if I set it so the waist belt is positioned properly, the sternum strap is on my neck. This is the biggest issues preventing me from using this pack when I need to carry heavier payloads for longer. Other issues: zippers are sealed, but sealing is disintegrating very quickly and looks very torn. There is a side pocket which is very shallow making it mostly useless. If it would extend to the bottom of the pack it would be perfect for longer items like monopod/tripod or axe. Overall, for the current Massdrop price with included pouches I'd buy it again, but keep in mind the issues I mentioned, esp. if you are a taller person.
