I aways get excited when I see Signature Plastic keycaps here on Massdrop. But I endup never buying it because there is always missing keys for my Mac/Pok3r needs.
They never make 1.25x Fn or Cmmd (⌘) keys. In this particular set there are not even good alternatives. There is only one "Meta" so I can't use that. There is only one "Hyper", so can't use that for command either. The only arrangement would be to buy Base+TSAFox+Novelty and use the 1.25 row 3 graph keys for Command. Then it becomes a very expensive buy to a sub-optimal result.
Does anyone else feel the same? How to we go about petitioning them so they improve their DoubleShot keycaps extras sets?

iraeMost people don't really care for that kind of aesthetic since a majority here are touch typists and don't even look down at the board unless we're admiring it lol. For me, I bound Fn to Capslock so I could do FN + WASD for arrows. Cap still says "capslock", but it's actually Fn and muscle memory pretty much takes over from there.

iraeI don't understand. I use a (couple) pok3r (s) on Mac and it's fine. Get the Novelty set and use the 1.25 Pulse (icon, not spelled out) keys for the Cmd key. Ctrl stays Ctrl, use Alt for Option (it even says alt on actual Mac keyboards, along with option). Then you have the Meta, Hyper, and Pulse (spelled out) left for your Fn key. And to top it off you get the red rekt as well as the colored Pulse (icon) row 1 keys. No need for the TSAFox set at all.
Personally, I'm in for the base set, novelties, and forums kit.

iraeBoth Nantucket Selectric (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=74984.0) and Dasher SA (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=79484.0) have the mac keys you're looking for.

fostermattThat's exactly what I had in mind when I designed the modifiers legends. I selected legends that could potentially offer many workaround possibilities for the different layouts that people use. Offering every single legend, for every different layout that exist out there would be something extremely inefficient and costly. I would end up with many expensive small child kits and you would end up with a lot of useless keycaps.

MiToWell, I don't like novelty that much and the major reason I would like to have precise printed function/command/Control is because I sometimes pair-program with folks and it helps a lot if they can look and use the keyboard. That is one of the reasons I stopped using VIM arrow and went back to default Pok3r layout. Sure, novelty was viable, but it is a lot of money and still not perfect. In retrospect I think I should have bought this one and now I regret it. I just spent the whole weekend understanding geek hack. Such an ugly website and confusing forum interface for a high quality and expensive hobby/community. But I guess I will be going more there and less to Massdrop from now on.

iraeGeekHack is an interesting place, however I strongly recommend you to head over Reddit /r/MechanicalKeyboards instead. It's much more friendly, the interface is better and the flow of information/resources is much more useful.
People always regret not joining PuLSE, I try to do everything I can to prevent that but it always happens. Well, better luck on the next drop I guess!
Let me know if I can help you further.

MiToThanks! I do subscribe to /r/mk but most of the time I go there is full of jokes and funny stuff, or people showing their rigs. It is fun and sometimes useful, but it is less focused on actually buying keysets. I will keep an eye open and maybe go there more frequently. I usually show up once every two weeks and sort by top monthly, maybe that's the problem.

iraeNot really, the thing is that for my personal projects I use Instagram for news/updates while my website is not ready @mito.rmk. If you check my profile every once in a while I'm pretty sure you'll never miss any of my releases! My future website will also include a mailling list so stay tuned!

iraeYou can try /r/mechmarket. It's strictly a selling sub for mechanical keyboards and keyboard accessories.

MiToInteresting to see that new releases are ahead!
Your Instagram page said that Pulse would be available for purchase from SP, whereas the PMK Status page states that there won't be any keyshop sales for this set. Who's right? I only realize now I should have added that Zambloos kit to my order.
