Haha, "vegan leather" :D In my time, this had a different name. As @EwenFR mentioned, if it's well made, then is certainly worth $30, but come on, you don't need to call it something else. It just makes it look bad.

But in all seriousness, I'm not sure if the marketing person who came up with calling pleather "vegan leather" is insane or a genius. Seems like something Dr. Evil would say that his father did.

GunsOfBrixtonDidn't know there were vegan slaughterhouses in USA or China ;).
Marketing realised that in order to sell $90 a plastic bag you need to place leather somewhere and add a trendy "vegan".
Honestly, $30 is pretty good if it's well made.
