Or is it a sheepsfoot? I always get the two confused. In any case it's made of great steel and can cut really deep. "Sharp out of the box!" The opening action is a bit slow and wonky, though.
QSP continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the knife community. I am constantly impressed by the unique looks, superb function and incredible attention to detail. If you haven't give them a time. Grab one.
Great quality, much nicer in person and very impressed with quality. Blade came extremely sharper than most knives brand new, the satin finish looks amazing, and has great ergonomics and fits comfortably in hand. Knife overall is of decent size. Overall impressed with this knife especially for its price and when was not expecting much to begin with
Overall a very well made knife with an excellent steel, very sharp out of the box, well balanced, centered blade with precise lockup, smooth flipper deployment and just an all around excellent edc knife. Very glad I made this purchase.
I love this knife. I’ve never used a Wharncliffe before, and I have to say, the point makes this knife so useful in so many ways, multiple times a day. I love the heft of it, the size of the handle and blade, and the thickness of the blade stock gives me confidence in the knife’s sturdiness. Despite its size, it’s somehow really easy to index behind that delicate point. I’ve used it to remove several splinters so far, and it was surprisingly easy to control for being a fairly big, beefy folder. One handed opening and closing is slick and easy - flicks open and drops shut. It’s razor sharp. I see some reviewers find it heavy, and I can’t disagree - but I like the weight. It’s a no-nonsense workhorse kind of knife. It just does the job and you don’t have to think about it. Fit and finish is really nice, especially given the price point of this knife. My new EDC.
I was not expecting the level of fit and finish on this QSP knife. Only bought it since it was sub $100 knife with S35VN blade. Feels great in my hand and blade is centered and holding a great edge. Almost thought I got an automatic folder with how smooth and fast it opens with the flipper tab.
Happy with the knife overall, the handles are a nice material and I do like the blade shape.
My knife didn't have a very flat blade (the "flats") in particle.
