Very impressed for under $25! A quiet tool, light and strong, and I love D2. Quiet means it can be used in just about any circumstances without bothering anyone (well, not in an airport). We'll see how it stands up, but I'm sure it'll be as useful after some years. Note, as below, I have changed my rating because of weak detent to keep it closed in pocket.
SDeGiulioWell, the price was great, and I still like the knife, but it opened in my pocket--clipped to the pocket--two days in a row. Luckily, I was not hurt, but I cannot carry it anymore, and may just have to leave it on my desk, toolbag, or in glove compartment.
As I understand the construction, the detent cannot be strengthened, if even if it could, it would be too stiff to open with the thumb stud.
Any suggestions?
SDeGiulioI too am disappointed the detention is so light. Blade easily opens with just a moderate shake when upside down. I would love to know how to tighten the detent without screwing something else up.
