I contacted QSP, back when we all received our ' ship date got pushed back' notice on March 1st. QSP apologized of course, and said that it looked like these knives would be leaving their factory on about March 10th. So figuring that did happen, and with an approx. 2 week travel time. They should arrive at Drop during the early part of the first week in April. From there, and with Drop's shipping history in mind. I'm expecting mine to arrive here at the end of the second week in April.

I must like this one. I started looking thru the comments and found several of mine. WMK has this for $27.00 with the LTK code. And this includes delivery. Are you sitting down? It ships today or tomorrow. And there is a choice of colors. And if you want CF and S35VN, they have it. Albeit, at about $100 more, but it is available if you want a much better blade steel. 14themoneyOn the flip-side of your comment (and LTK is a good friend of mine). Most Dealers have very little stock of this model, and not nearly as many variations. For example. Just a day after you posted your comment here. I checked in with Justin at WMK, and he no longer had any of the Red Micarta. Which is the one I was after this time. Now even today (Feb 2nd), he only has one variation available, and does not know when he will be getting in more stock. Drop often sells hundreds of units at a crack. Which is more in total, than a dozen different Dealers have on hand. Satisfying many more people. All at the same time, in one place. People hit the "Request" Button here on Drop. The demand is judged ahead of time. 439 was the last "Request" tally, and to date. Drop has sold over 2,400 of these QSP Penguin's. That's success, no matter how you look at it, and there must be a good reason for it. Right? Now I don't have to spend my valuable time, checking in with several Dealers over a period of days or weeks. Looking for a Red Micarta to come back in Stock. I'm now good to go, and Drop has made that possible for me. Did I mention? I LOVE RED! ; - )

Hey y'all, I'm looking to buy the brown micarta version but the photo on here looks like a weird honeycomb pattern, I just want the plain brown. Has anyone received a brown one and can you tell me which it actually looks like? Cheers

I own this knife with blue handles. I purchased it though a knife retailer on a special. It has become one of my favorite EDC's. Rides in front pocket well, opens smoothly, and fits my hand comfortable. I am a fan of sheepsfoot blades, they are a good working blade. So far, its held an edge well. I have 100's of folders to choose from, (its a sickness), and this one rates towards the top and is an incredible value.
