I spoke with these folks and the knife, not this one, but another with RN scales would be non-returnable if I thot the scales were ugly. The whole idea in ponying up mo' money is for beautiful scales. If I get an ugly set, I want to return them (at no cost) and have the next one (or many inspected) so I will have a pretty one. This is a great price, but I'm not much of a gambler. KC will hand inspect any knife for whatever I ask them to. I was called once and told the the knife I wanted did not exist, none of the instock knives had a blade that was centered. KC has customer service as good as anyone that I have dealt with. It certainly exceeded my expectations. Hey, Dropster. What is so damn hard about opening the box and looking at the knife. It might cost you a bit of time, but I deeply believe that it would increase your sales.
