QSP knives weren’t really on my radar, but if this is an example of what their workmanship is like, they’re definitely on my radar now! The action, materials, fit and finish are all on point! A few sharp edges on some of the milling here and there but nothing that ruins the overall experience of the knife.
sharpenedblade0Yeah I had a hard time choosing, but what I noticed in video reviews is that every reviewer had a different level of ease with the hole version. I saw the same thing with the Kizer Mistral, which I have no trouble index or middle flicking. If they had anodized or blacked-out stud variants I would have jumped on one.
I got the blacked out one though, I'll have to review it here once it's in hand. If it's as good as the Mistral then it was a great buy.
sharpenedblade0I'm a little concerned that if I like this one as much as I expect to, I'll end up with a little Puffin family since there are already six variants, and three of them are substantially different from each other aside from finish options. One with studs and a nice color ano would be an autobuy.
sharpenedblade0No, I need to get a new phone but I should have a flood of new shots for a month or so after I get one. Which will be soonish.
I got a few really cool things in recent weeks and I have something outrageous on the way from Russia.
