This is one knife does it all. Great value for all the tools you need while on a light camping trip or just carry around the house if you have a big yard (that is, if you are a knife person). Note that none of the tools are going to work top-notch. For example, the sharpener won't work as nice as Syperdco Sharp Maker. But all the tools does an adequate job to keep your tasks going. I don't worry about the steel. Honestly even with the best steels such as M390 or S35VN, you will have to sharpen them often too. I prefer softer steels that sharpens easily. Between sharpening a knife for one hour every two weeks, I would rather sharpen my knife for 5 minutes every 2 to 3 days.
This little knife comes with a lot of great features, and all are confirmed functional and working. The flashlight is a nice touch (though the battery is in backwards by default for obvious reasons as it's always on) The paracord braid is solid, and the rod starts a fire well with some good tinder. It digs well into the fingernail for the sharpness test and the sheath is perfect on the hip.
I haven't used it for any major cutting or on any long outdoor hikes yet. It has many features which are nice but not great (led flashlight is surprisingly bright, sharpener is basic but works, paracord is... paracord). The knife itself is more stout than I expected. Has a real full size handle and doesnt feel like you are trying to grip a small knife. The real test is over the next 12months to see how it holds up.
Wasn’t really sure what to expect, but overall it is a nice knife. Not sure how useful the little flashlight will be, but hey may come handy. The knife comes very sharp. Be careful how you hold the sheath if you are going to use the built in sharpener.
Good size, good features, great quality. Not sure how much the flashlight will get used. Flint is nice to have available. Over all very happy with the purchase.
Low price great pleasure to use ... good ergonomics with some gadget accessories that may one day help..port quite high above the belt ... but without annoy me
A knife that can be used harshly without worrying about the consequences...
You get what you pay for. Didn't expect much but figured it was a great deal, including the sheath, fire rod, and bottle opener. Figured it will be a decent camp side tool that I don't mind breaking or losing.
It's exactly as advertised. The handle is built more for comfort than grip I really like the fact that the sheath has a retention system - this knife will never come out unless you want it to. Pretty sharp out the box.
