Anybody think that the price tag seems a bit high given the qty/complexity of the components? I'm all for paying for a designer's creativity but I'm amazed this game has a $56 MSRP (and even the MD price seems high). Compare to other games that include a large number of small and/or ornate pieces, it just seems like a lot for some pressed cardboard, dice, and a deck of cards. Feel free to tell me how awesome the game is, admittedly it's got a 7.4 on BGG which is pretty decent https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/143519/quantum/ratings

TaniosEveryone I've played it with really liked it. It has a lot of depth in easy to teach rules and plays fast relative to other conflict based strategy games. $38 is a great price for how much I've gotten out of my copy. I paid more for mine. Check out the Shut Up and Sit Down review for more info.

TaniosI think this a fantastic spacial (not because its in space) strategy games out there. The design is pretty brilliant for (as you describe) some pretty simple components.
