Lots of quilters mix quilting cottons and linen blend fabrics in their quilts. It adds a nice bit of texture to the quilt. Maybe give it a try? And if you think it's ugly just remember that cutting fabric small makes even ugly fabrics look good, haha.

UtahThis was not a linen blend of a type that is used in quilting. It was very heavy, almost canvas-like in texture and weight. Any seam ith this would be incredibly thick and bulky.
