So I sent an email for the Clear switches but haven't heard back from QWERTim... I am worried that I may not be able to receive those switches if I don't get a confirmation email from him before the buy ends. I assuming I still have to give him my details for the order. What worries me is the switch tester will get shipped without those Clear switches. If he doesn't get back to me soon, I'm not sure I'll be able to reply in time before it gets delivered because of real life commitments...Ugh It's a real hassle even typing this message right now, don't have access to my accounts right now (not suppose to be on here)

NiroxMaybe no replies because they could be low on Clear switches?
It seems that you're particularly interested in this switch tester for the MX Clear switch. Should you not be able to get that additional MX Clear switch then (in my opinion) you're basically spending more for what you could get for less.
If you look on Reddit, you'll find comments made by QWERTYTim where Tim offers customers 3 options; one of them being the choice to get a plate designed with 7 slots for a mere $2-3 extra.
Don't know why the 6 slot plate was made when people were requesting a 7 slot plate, lol...really makes me question why...but I'm going to wait until a new version of the sample tester is released which is why I have not participated in this group buy. I don't like the idea of having to swap out the switches each time because there isn't a 7th slot. Besides, I don't see the point (other than aesthetics) in paying extra when I can easily get a 6 slot plate + MX Clear switch elsewhere at a cheaper price. All I want is a plate that will do the job and idealy would be able to test ALL the switches without any hassless.

SullenHi Sullen
When we first launched the QWERkeys Cherry MX Switch Tester, MX Clear switches were not available, so initially only 6 slots were accounted for. We have managed to source some Clears recently (amongst one other), but there is very limited stock in the UK. We have taken everyone's feed back into consideration and I have opted to provide the additional switch for free (perhaps a small donation towards postage if outside of EU).
Stay tuned to the new shop launch at the end of this month (hopefully) - and just maybe, you'll get what you want ;)

SullenProbably none of my business, but seriously.. This is a massdrop group buy. If your not interested in the product, dont join.. its really that simple. It was made pretty clear in the description this kit came with all the switches minus the mx clear, and its awesome that Tim from QWERKeys is going the extra mile to provide that extra switch for people that want it.
QWERKeys will be releasing the 7slot plate soon, so wouldnt be a bad bet to assume they will be doing another drop soon with the updated plate.

QWERTimWill everyone be getting a clear switch for free on top of the massdrop purchase, or only the people who have requested a clear key?
I'd really like it, and I am in Denmark in EU.
