Genuinely, hideous. Merely gazing at these makes me feel uncomfortable. They may sound amazing, but they'll require some further refinement, if they expect to get my money. I'd be too embarrassed to wear anything that ugly on my head. I'm all for innovation, but this is a prototype-grade device. It's not market-ready. Obviously the developer is a little too eager to rush it out the door. I guess, we'll have to wait until the patent expires, before someone else can turn it into a product people will want. Not to mention figure out a way to make it affordable. Hopefully, it doesn't end up being like one of those "early access" games which never get finished. It sure is expensive for an "early access" technology. I guess, you could compare this thing to something like Star Citizen. Yeah, that's it. These are the Star Citizen of the audio world.

sephulaNot many people are gonna see these on your head. They require a speaker amplifier, definitely not portable.

boyd.mediaHi I time traveled 500 years into the past to comment on this. It’s still in Alpha.

GrowleFear not, Chris Roberts is still is and will always be project lead. Fortunately the earlier fundraising stages were sufficient to upload his consciousness into the cloud and the Roberts AI development is well on track. We look forward to hundreds of years of continuing development and additional exciting features to be added! Look forward to our launch!

FuzzWe may all be living in a simulation as Elon has pontificated. Our simulation may be the Star Citizen of the last civilization. It is Star Citizen within Star Citizen and only Elon has figured it out. Hence the Cybertruck.
