Rado has been crafting luxury Swiss watches since 1917. The D-Star Steel automatic watch has a barrel-shaped case with polished edges and a minimally styled dial Read More
Love the case form! It's probably nitpicking, but I would have done without the 12 numeral, just baton markers all around.
Also, is the little anchor on the dial, rotating on these? It's a neat gimmick of Rado that is kind of iconic now.
Im not sure 100% about buying this watch because im pretty sure the hyperchrome will come again soon and i do like it more than this but this watch probably lower than the hyperchrome they sold so idk :\
The price is more expensive that what Ashford was offering on some of the models listed here. They had it for as low as 390 USD a few weeks back. This ain't a terrific deal.
I was going to pull the trigger as soon as I saw this but...the no lume situation is an absolute deal breaker. If you can’t see the hands in low light situations the watch is useless half the time.
If you're considering a luminox black ops, why were you going to pull the trigger on this D star?
Look at Ball if you want dress and lume. I have a Ball Trainmaster Eternity that has tritium gas tubes at each indices and hand. It’s a handsome dress watch that’s always visible.
