Hi guys,
i have a simple question. How good or bad the ES100 will play with iPhone 11 and for example ibasso it01s via BT compared to wired method? iPhones has only AAC codes so and i am wondering if the combination of ES100 with any middle range headphones is a good way or i will be disapointing at the end doesnt matter how good heapdones i pair with it.
Cerda_CZthe sound out of this little thing is about 96% as good as my Hugo2.
So far, I’ve only used it to power EJ07 IEMs and as a Bluetooth connection for my trucks stereo, and in both cases it was great.
which headphones did you have in mind, there is a chance I have them and can test.
Cerda_CZI use my OG ES100 with V-Moda m100, Grado SR80, Meze 99, Noble Luxe, Klipsch X11i and Mee Audio P2 and my iPhone Xr almost daily and before that with my Pixel 2.
The ES100 is excellent with every combo. The app alone is a huge benefit. All DACs, BT or not should come with such software. I’m really able to dial in the sound that I like with each headphone and the ES100 has more than enough power for the headphones I mentioned.
Is it the best sounding DAC or Amp in my arsenal. No. But for its price, size and convenience it’s second time to none, IMO.
