I own two of these stands and they have a fatal design flaw.
When the rubber bumpers on one of my stands fell off, I contacted Rain Design's customer service about it. Their response was, "unfortunately after time the pads do fall off" and then suggested I pay $6 to buy additional bumpers from them. The mstand is a premium product, costing twice that of other all-metal laptop stands. If the manufacturer knows that the bumpers will fall off, they should fix the adhesive that they use instead of expecting customers to continually pay them for new bumpers. A laptop stand should not have a wear item on it!

MadokaYeah, I have the same problem with my mstand before and the one that exhibits this problem is the pad that is in the front, the one that is preventing your laptop touching the stand. I wished they should have added an extra pad along with the stand if they already figured out that it will come off after some time.

raindesignThe first one I bought came out of the box with one of them loose. Customer Service replaced that one. The second one took about 8 months before it fell off.
