Can someone convince me to get these versus just like a pair of sperry topsiders. Like what are the pros and cons.

joshjacobs18Better make, better materials, better quality. You can also send them to Rancourt for a resole when you wear through them.
Though keep in mind, these are not boat shoes. They can fill a similar role in a casual wardrobe.

joshjacobs18@PDandG and @JP_Chestnut are one step ahead of me! Essentially, this shoe is better in every way I can think of - better materials (Horween full grain leathers), better construction (hand-stitched instead of glued), made in America by a family-owned company, etc. I also like the look of a moc much better than a boat shoe, but that's just my opinion. In short, for the higher price you'll get a shoe that will last much longer and look much better while doing it.
