Ransom Holding Company is perhaps best known for championing the sneakerboot movement in the late 2000s with the Never Ending Path project, a multi-season collaboration with Adidas. These days, the Canadian company continues to reinvent traditional footwear with new silhouettes, colors, and materials made to cross all kinds of terrain—from city streets to mountain trails. Just take the Alpine boots: a modern take on the classic hiker. Each pair features a full-grain nubuck upper with a Neoprene collar and lining, D-ring eyelet hardware, and durable woven laces. The lightweight EVA footbed has a merino wool sock liner, and it’s all built on the Vibram Christie sole.
