FayneChair arrived right on time. First impressions listed below:
Build quality is not too bad for this type of chair. None of the bolts had threading issues. All parts lined up.
Chassis design reminds me of a bucket in a car. Good enough there. It seems like everything important in the support structure is metal, and the welds don't look like poop.
The bucket is nice and comfortable, the chair back is just big enough to handle my 6'4" self.
All good. Well, up until the big glaring issue.
This chair is sold as supporting up to 350lbs. While building it, I found a big ol sticker on the bottom saying the chair is only rated to 265lbs. What gives?
I'm not going to stop using the char as it is mighty comfortable, and I've got a 'If I fits, I sits' mentality. Just a touch annoyed at conflicting posted specifications and attached warnings.
