Are the casters safe for a hardwood floor or will they scratch it?

LookartiThe casters are plastic and should be okay on wood floors. However, we do recommend those with wood floors to use a chair mat as any chairs over time will damage wood floors.

RapidXone suggestion i have, offer an option with roller blade style wheels, they are hard wood safe, and people like myself would pay extra to swap to them if the price was reasonable for the quality, i have yet to see roller blade style wheels cause what my plastic ones have to floors(hard wood and fake hard wood) could also look into offering a bundle with mat and wheel upgrades branded by your company, just a suggestion though... i really miss my old casters...that i regret giving away with the chair they came with...

LookartiThis is what I ended up doing. I swapped the stock wheels for some Master Caster high profile bell glides. Then I stuck 2" felt pads to the bottom of those so the chair would slide easily on the hardwood floor.
