Absolute regret for me. Don't think I'll order from massdrop again if there isn't any concept of quality control. You are better off buying Pi 3 yourself and the official touch screen.
- Raspberry pi power supply provided isn't enough to power the pi, as it will eventually shut down. - Display board didn't come with it's own power supply. I luckily had one that fit the power supply socket. - The "instructions" included are just a link to a wiki. - Instructions in wiki are bare, and you are left to your own devices for somethings like figuring out how to connect the display to the display board.
Lesson learned. Both massdrop and this supplier are absolute garbage.

aspeltokI absolutely agree with your statement! I had to cut a USB cable apart and solder it onto the display board. And the plug on the display board broke so I only get a loose connection if any. This package is definitely not worth its price.

aspeltokYeah, I signed up for this drop not doing my due dilligence. I thought this was for the Raspberry Pi 7" screen, not some off brand one that won't fit any case.
This is a crap drop, I'm quitting Massdrop because of this crap.

aspeltokI'm going to have to agree with this. Having to fabricate my own screen case and screen controller case is going to be a pain. I haven't been able to even try the screen out, as I don't have a power supply that will work with it. I had a hell of a time getting raspian to start, turns out the power supply for the Pi3 was the problem (I bought a new one). The only things you get of value in this drop are the Pi3 and I suppose the heat sinks? Definitely not worth it.
