Does anyone know if this product is ready to be relaunched? The price on Amazon went up to $84.99 but it looks like plenty of people will want to buy it.

Can we get this drop going again with the Model B+ boards?

I like the idea of this site, but the prices are inflated and they use group buys to get the price near Amazon or other online retailer. This same kit is on Amazon for $5 cheaper than the price here and FREE shipping.

bkwashpaThe Amazon kit here: http://www.amazon.com/CanaKit-Raspberry-Ultimate-Starter-Components/dp/B00G1PNG54/ is $79.99.
As far as I can tell, it differs from the Adafruit kit that is listed here because it doesn't have: A console cable (https://www.adafruit.com/products/954) A microSD card reader (https://www.adafruit.com/products/939) No USB Cable No SD Adapter One less push-button switch No Ethernet cable
So, yes our kit is more expensive (11 dollars) but the above items are a bit of a pain to collect and/or acquire, and pretty useful to have.
There's a good amount of interest in this buy, but we still need a few more people. I'm adding a day to this drop to see if we can get another 15 or so people to join and get us to the lowest price.

MarkI think you would get more people if the kit had more unique items that set it apart at the current price point.
As others have mentioned I would like to see a BeagleBone Black!

Could we do a drop that's just the board?

danielBech94The company sells them wholesale for about $35 model B. Amazon picks them up by the thousand and gets to save on shipping. Massdrop can't pick them up in any quantity to even compete with Amazon. If you want one, the cheapest place is Amazon. Unless Massdrop is willing to take a large loss on the R Pi's just to get more customer satisfaction *winkwink*

I don't suppose we could see a kit without the Pi? I have my own Pi, but it's pretty barebones and I'm in need of more kit!
