I have some Serengeti polarized from here that I use for driving, very nice. Just out about though, non polarized are perfectly fine and if you're going to be looking at your phone alot, polarized can become irritating with the screen distortion.

Ray Ban would have a “P” on the lens if they were. I think the description is incorrect.

Yeah, I've heard the same.
A few years ago I bought other model for driving, with more classic looks, the same gradient, and polarization (they have a big P on one of the lenses), and it makes a hell of a difference; especially when there's a lot of sun, or I drive against "low" sun, and the asphalt is wet.
They let me see everything, and I love the gradient addon not only because it looks good, but also it makes the dials easy to read despite being much darker.
I tested them against LCD screens, and I cannot see anything when I turn them vertically. When they're horizontal, screen is visible. OLED phone screens are visible too, but I couldn't see anything one one of LCD phones unless it was turned horizontally.
When I switched my old car to Prius, which has HUD, the HUD projected to the windshield is significantly less visible than without glasses. Still visible, but could be brighter. Turning the brightness up to match the non-polarized brightness makes it way too bright for regular usage, so I have it set at "perfect for without glasses + 1".
I have no pilot license, and probably will never have, yet I really like the design. It's an instant classic and few people look bad in them. For driving, and probably everyday usage, unless you have good reasons to do otherwise, I'd suggest the polarized model. It reduced glare significantly without making things too dark.
The question is - are these P for polarized or not? Both will look good, but the application differs.
Edit:
I couldn't find this frame with polarized lenses, at least on the official US Ray-Ban site.
