Anyone know where these are made?

The blue lenses aren't polarized from what I've researched. Also, the drop was limited to 99 pieces so it ended quickly.

RonnieAlohaIt may be that because the lens already has a blue coating that cuts down glare the polarizing might not be needed. Only speculation. For the price I took a shot. If I don't like them I'll pass the along...

Did this drop already sell out? Or was there some other technical glitch that caused it to go inactive?

I checked the Ray Ban website and this model is supposed to be polarized. Why would you put the MSRP as seen on Ray Ban then? If Massdrop is just using the highest MSRP to show maximum discount that is wrong and unfair. If they are not Polarized when I receive them, I will talk to customer support on this.

I'd say this is a great deal esp. for someone likes me who will knock out the original lens and put in prescription ones (those cost a lot!). I'm always on the lookout for cheap branded frames.

Dav345Pretty sure they are not. Nowhere in the drop page do they mention it, and there is no "Ray-Ban P" on the logo.

Not such a great deal if you watched the Sixty Minutes story on Luxottica. After they bought Ray-Ban they quadrupled prices. It's a decent deal if this is what you really want. I avoid anything owned by Luxottica myself.

Check out Prive Revaux, a venture between Amazon and others. Polarized lens with absolutely great designs for cheaper than this.
