Once you own a pair from Randolph Engineering, nothing else is good enough. The Concorde is this basic shape.

Are these the original Bausch & Lomb G-15 lenses? If not, they may not be as good as the original series going back over 60 years. However, "Ray-Ban" is now owned by Luxottica so if they are using the same lenses as Persol (another brand they own), perhaps they are of very good quality. Can anyone from Drop answer this question?

SGvaIt's better for you to go to the source:
  • This sunglasses. Lens color is Green Classic but it doesn't 🗣 it's the G-15. Also the lenses are polycarbonate.
  • The cockpit. Lens color is Green Classic G-15. Also the lenses are crystal as you can confirm in the Details section.

Why is it so hard to find yellow aviators that aren't super cheap or super expensive.

Almost the same price on eBay UK after accounting for import taxes, shipping and fees.

Description says that the frame is matte black, but in the pictures it looks more like gunmetal gray. Does anyone know what colour the frame really is?

I'm old enough to remember these selling for $12.50 and they had 10k Gold Filled Frames. They are not even made by Bausch and Lomb any more.

Non-polarized, non-interested. And no way would non-polarized be $153, so saving isn't THAT great.

atomicusWell, they're aviators. And aviation sunglasses cannot be polarized.
