Product Description
Like any good freelancer, Raymond Weil’s Freelancer Chronograph automatic watch can easily transition from job to job, setting to setting. The dial layout is smart and legible, with plenty of function to spare Read More
Just received this watch about an hour ago after purchasing it during the early December run, and i'm extremely disappointed in the quality of the product i just received, nowhere in the description and details said these watches were "used" but clearly that's what i received. The leather band it's scratched, also wore out and very loose, the watch itself has dirt and micro scratches underneath, not sure what happened but i did not expect this kind of quality from drop.com, I've contacted customer service immediately upon receiving my watch and I will update depending on what i hear from there.
I wish I could have said the same, I really wanted to keep it and enjoy it, it’s a fantastic looking watch I guess I must have been the lucky contestant.
rosasejSorry to hear that really sucks I once got a used Seiko sarb035 from Amazon but at least they came and picked it up right away and delivered a new one good luck it’s a nice watch at a good price anyway
I had never seen the "sold through" or sold out message before on Drop and just assumed I had another day to order. My bad.
So if anyone ordered the Freelancer and is having buyers remorse, I can help you with that. ;-) Contact me.
Or if anyone bought one the last time these were on Drop and is ready to move on from it now, send me a message. Thanks.
Drop - I'm interested in this watch. I need to know if the 1 year "manufacturer warranty" you're claiming on the site is enforceable/usable. Will this watch come with STAMPED warranty papers? If you are simply enclosing a blank warranty form, which is not AD stamped/signed/dated, I would question the manufacturer aspect of the warranty, and assume it's just the usual Drop 1 year warranty. Awaiting clarification before clicking Buy!
thriftyscroogeI had the same issue.
I contacted Drop who advised me that with any issues in the first year or after delivery to contact them in the first instance, then they would assist me from there; I wouldn't be left without warranty help. I have had no issues with drop so far and I am happy to take them at their word. As someone else has pointed out ,considering the price it is always a measured gamble with the warranty not being honoured by the manufacturer as it is in this case. (Raymond Weil in Australia will not have any part of the warranty if not sold through a Raymond Weil Authorised dealer; at all. I eventually received some rather short responses to my email enquiries with their brand management!!) Anyway, the watch arrived after 7 days from shipping! Really fast; but the courier was not DHL as advised: so my many attempts to track were a waste of time. It came with UPS!! Even then the only delivery advice I received was after the delivery informing me that delivery was the next day: well it is nearly Christmas after all. I suppose I am grateful it arrived at all, sometimes at this time of year packages have a knack of arriving many weeks later. At least the watch arrived in perfect condition, with full box equipment and yes a warranty card labelled TRISA !!. There is also the Swiss Made logo on the dial. So far it seems to work perfectly, all be the chrono buttons seem a to require a little force to activate, but do work perfectly; maybe it is the screw down locking device mechanism on the pushers;I haven't had these before;nor the leather band deployment clasp which i think will take some getting used too?
Anyway all in all very happy so far; except for delivery info; just lucky I happened to be at home I guess. It is a lot of watch for the money especially with the steel coloured tachy rim which looks ten times better than a ceramic one.
justonemorewatchI believe drop is selling the older version, the newer version(the picture drop has put up) does not have "SWISS MADE" and uses the RW5200.
