Ehh. I mean the materials for the price are really good, but just not a great knife design. Action is mediocre at best, far worse than a RAT for instance, and it's a pain in the ass to open. Fine if you just like the looks and the steel at the price, but not what I personally would recommend.

Small, light, decent quality
This was a steal at the price I bought it - it far S35VN for not that much more than the cheaper regular version, and the marbled CF gives it a distinctive look.

Just barely 4 stars
I try to like this knife. Once opened, it is ergonomically excellent. It provides a 3 to 3.5 finger grip for my medium/large hands. The main issue is that the detent is too strong for the amount of tension required to open the blade. The double sided fullers are short becuse of the large angle of the the drop point and are therefore close to the pivot. Therefore it requires a lot of force to open the blade. As said by others, almost impossible to open with one hand.

1004014638Do you know the size of the spine at the top thick part? I am thinking about installing a thumb stud on it, but I do not know the size of that one area.

It's a good looking knife, I'll give you that. But at this price, and looking at the competition from Bestech or Massdrop collabs for example, I must admit I was a bit underwhelmed by the bronze bushings/bearings setup. The blade finish is good, but there is a very slight difference between the top of the blades and the cutting edge side: it's as if the satin finish was done in two different stages with different abrasives grain sizes. The Ti handle side is absolutely perfect, but does have a fairly stiff blade spring, which makes using the knife with one hand impossible. The Carbon side is oh-so pretty, but the finish could be improved I believe: it's raw carbon, has been shaped on a cnc, but I think it's been put on the knife without post-processing whatsoever; A bit of sanding or fine sand-blasting would have been beneficial. This leaves the carbon side a bit odd to the touch and a somewhat unpleasant and loking rough. Last complain: the fasteners are indeed part of the look, and they look very nice, but having a centered blade means keeping the front fasteners really loose. There's a bit of Blue Loctite compound to fix it in place, but it wore off on the first time I dismantled it and had to be replaced by a stronger compound to make sure it wouldn't budge. TL:DR: very very pretty and pocketable knife, very nice design let down by fairly sub-standard finish and fabrication. At this price-point, I was getting used to Massdrop collaboration quality and I am a bit disappointed. £30/$25 less would makes this a fair deal.

Good quality. Wish it was easier to open with one hand, but I knew it wasn’t a flipper when I bought it. Poltergeistworks has some really nice unconventional designs. Glad I could get one that is affordable to help alleviate the fear of actually using it.

Awesome piece, great fit and finish. I’ve purchased several knives from Drop and as usual I’m very happy.

Beautiful flipper. It's going to take a lot of practice to get this blade opened one handed. The fuller is very shallow. Otherwise would have been five stars. Beautiful finish, great style.

I thought using the fuller would be the way this knife was opened based on the pictures. Well sort of, but not with your thumb. There just isn't enough of a bite from the Fuller to get a purchase. The detente is also very strong and only by using a pinch grip I was able to open the blade, but not all the way so this is a essentially a two handed opening knife. Opening the damn box it came in is almost as hard a opening this knife. I wear a XL glove and can get almost a 4 finger grip on the handle. Real Steel enclosed a lanyard bead which is a nice touch. The Kershaw Reverb I just received has the same blade design and I have no issues opening it. If anyone is interested in mine, just reply to this review. It's back in the box ready to ship.
