First slip is a doozy!!!
This is my first venture in to slipjoints and I clearly did well. Razor sharp blade and looks to match!! Opens smoothly with positive click! I have to constantly wipe off my finger prints.. but it’s huge and it’s a SJ with a gorgeous, shiny blade which is easy to wipe-clean..so to be expected! Handle: G-10 -G-10 handle & craftsmanship = high quality -Great fit for larger hand Blade: VG-10 -Metal & craftsmanship = high quality -Sharpness Out-Of-Box = Razor (will shave many arm hairs) -Finish = extremely high quality; bright & even. Overall: Highly Recommended!

Well made comfortable in hand
Much larger than expected. Great addition to a camp kit. The deployment of the blade is super interesting. Versatile grip. Would absolutely suggest

It’s really big!
Not much to say it’s very large and nicely made! It came sharp and no significant flaws. I don’t know if it was intended but I use it as a chefs knife! I think it’s perfect! the handle is interesting it has to be a bit long to accommodate the blade. The shape allows for two different hand positions. One choked up on the blade for more control and one further back for greater force.

Great Value for the Money
I bought this with the intention of using it as a folding kitchen knife. It's a bit too thick to replace a santoku but I guess it'll do. Folding kitchen knives seems to be a rarity. It's very beefy and with the full steel line, surprisingly weighty. The action is different from other slip joints I've had. Not in a bad way, just different. For the price I paid, it's definitely worth it. Would I pay full-retail? Maybe, but I'd expect better scale materials and maybe a pocket clip to pay that much. In conclusion... I like the knife and do recommend it but I wish the blade is thinner and that it was lighter.

Excellent blade for the price.
I didn't buy this for an EDC blade, but more a camping cook blade. Very happy with it so far. Would really like to see this blade with a locking mechanism. The slip joint is effective, but limits the use. Reason it's just a cooking blade, which it is great for, I suspect that's by design. Overall, a great culinary folder, which is what makes it great for camping trips and pro-longed hunting expeditions.

Good knife, but fit and finish slightly lacking.
I'm overall pleased with the Amare Creator. The main issue I have is a small rattling sound that can be heard at the base of the handle. A small ping sound can be heard whenever I flip the knife over. Because of this small rattle, when I close the knife, it makes a cheap metallic sound. Regardless of the noise, as far as I can tell, it performs as intended, and feels good in hand. The slip joint is secure, but having a locking mechanism of some sort would still have been appreciated. My brother's a chef, and when I showed him this knife, at first he was envious. But once he saw the slip joint, it was a no go for him. I'm still a big fan of this knife, but others may take issue.

Bigger than expected
turned out to be much bigger than i expected, definitely not an EDC knife. plenty of handle real estate.
