While you can put this in your pocket, this is more of a portable food prepping knife, at least for me. I say take it camping, break it out, unfold it, and slice and dice! You'll be the savior of camping cuisine that requires a fine blade. And this is sharp!
The handle on this thing is surprisingly big. The non-locking action can make a person a little nervous but it's the perfect knife for a picnic, backpacking, camping, etc. Great blade shape for cutting and preparing food.
Yes, it is really big and not pocket friendly. But Navajas can be big, right? Yes, it is a modern version of Navaja Busa, one of traditional regional Spanish styles.
But very hand-friendly. And it is not a kitchen knife. Just big utility knife.
A large slip joint perfect for the kitchen.
Its handle allows a sure grip and its design is very suitable for cutting on boards. Vegetables and food just have to hold on tight !
It is clearly a very well made knife. Quite heavy, extremely sharp. The handle gives excellent grip even under wet conditions. But the knife is huge... I expected it to be a pocket knife or at least something I could have with me all day. But that's a no-no (for me). So now I have to find it's little brother, if it at all exists.
I haven’t had it more than one day but I did a short unboxing. At first I thought it was another knife I was expecting. But it was a very nice surprise!
